Summer here is hot and humid. From now until September most days will be too hot to play outside. It’s 92 degrees today and it’s only May. Our local pool will be as warm as bathwater by the end of June.

To beat the heat and get your kids off the couch, the great folks at AMF offer you SUMMER UNPLUGGED!

“You get to bowl, and you get to bowl and YOU get to bowl!”

It really is a fabulous deal. Sign up with AMF, America’s best place for family bowling, and each week you’ll be e-mailed coupons for two free games daily for every child 16 and under.

Take advantage of AMF’s other offer for the big people in your family. The AMF Summer 17+ Pass costs only $27.95 and allows up to four adults to bowl two games a day all summer long. That’s bowling two games a into September for less than $7 a person.

Not $7 a day–$7 total!

Shoe rental is not included, but totally worth it.

The free bowling is available every day until 8 p.m. from May 30 until September 5th. New coupons are sent each Sunday.

AMF has over 200 participating locations, so there’s sure to be one near you.

My family enjoys bowling. I’m not great at it, so my kids love it that they can beat me. We live very close to especially nice AMF lanes and I’ve found it a great place to spend the day with my kids when it’s hot outside. It costs less than a movie and it’s good exercise.

After you’ve played a few games, check out their on-site food center. Kids combo meals are only $2.99.

When I was a corporate employee, AMF was a client of my firm (I am in no way affiliated with them now, though). I liked what I saw of their corporate attitude and their involvement in the community.

It was hard to work in the offices next to where they tested the lanes and equipment. Thump, rumble, rumble, CRASH, all day long, but I do cherish my souvenir bowling pin. Those things are sturdy!

Do any of you bowl with your family? Where I grew up it was seedy and not an activity for families, but I find AMF to run lanes that are classy, clean and very family-friendly.

Let me know if you spare a moment to take advantage of this offer. I’m signing my own kids up. I love doing active things together! It makes me feel like I’m not striking out as a parent. And with all the money I’ll save, I’ll be rolling in dough.

I participated in this campaign as a member of One2One Network and am eligible for a prize drawing. All opinions stated in the post are my own.
